Cyclying from Harlem to Willow Grove, PA

I've made this trip a couple of times in the past. This year I took a slightly longer northern route. It was much more hilly but much more scenic. It took me a little more than 11 hours to over the 114 miles. I basically rode from sun up to sun down.

Some of my trek is recorded on twitter: http://twitter.com/aalbc

Hey, I was checking out your book website and I noticed that you have book reviews and book reviewers. I just happen to be an African American reviewer. I guess I have this crazy idea that you actually pay your reviewers half of what you're charging. I'm an experienced reviewer and former newspaper reporter with about several hundred stories under my belt so to speak.

I'm always looking for freelance work. In fact, I was looking for a list of black publishers so I can try to sell a book idea I'm working on.

My specialties are science fiction, graphic novels and black lit.

I've written for Locus, Better Humans and Get Abstract. You can see some of my reviews here:

PS: I'm just getting my bike out of the shop. I hope to ride it a couple hours a week. I guess we're competitive.
